It's been ages since I've made any layouts, so I started by editing an old one (which was the one I was currently using). I gave it a Scream header because, why not? Haha! Truth is, I started this one year ago and never finished it. So today I finally found some time and inspiration and finally, here it is. I hope to make more things soon, although I don't think that will happen. So sad.

Here I am. I failed my last teacher opposition exam. I spent a lot of money, an insane amount of time and effort, all for nothing. This is so traumatic, I don't even want to talk about it anymore (this was back in June-July...)

On the other hand, my niece was born a week and a half ago. Her name is Minerva and I'm in love with her and so proud of my sister.

I'm trying to find myself again. In old places. In new places. I don't know. I'm trying to slowly come back to my older self, the one where I felt at ease. The one that enjoyed time to herself. The one that did not just work her ass off and do everything else before having fun. The creative one, the one that enjoyed doing things. Coding, graphics, videos, podcasts.

I'm trying to find me.

So after a week of being sick with COVID, I tested negative today. It feels so great. I'll keep using a mask around crowded spaces though... I don't want to get this shit again.
I also dropped out of the course I was taking for my teaching exams (oppositions) because I felt like it wasn't the place for me, I wasn't really making any progress...

I found another place that may be the answer to my prayers. I'll take up the course by the end of October I think if everything goes well. I need to get paid for a couple of things first 😂.

Since I finished playing Orwell Keeping an Eye on You yesterday, I'm starting this game today. It looks fabulous! Plus I love point and click adventures.

In case you wonder how I got so much time on my hands to play this or that game, granted I'm jobless (well I have a couple of small jobs I do on the internet, plus my little candle shop I run with my boyfriend, and I study hard for the next selective opposition exam for teachers), but I'm also with covid right now. So besides it being weekend, which I always spend far from home at my boyfriend's, yeah that's my current situation haha.

I've been using this nickname since I created my LJ which was... wait, let me check. 2 February 2006. Like, what the fuck.
Anyway, I think I grew out of this nickname. I'm 33 years old right now, I was 16 back then. So yeah I would need a change of nickname so maybe I'll spend some pocket money next month on that.

Right now I just need to think about what nickname I want ^^''

I've been playing this super cool game where you investigate people in the name of "The Nation" and uncover a whole intrincated story by reading sites, blogs and listening to conversations. How cool is that? Haha! I hope to find new games like this one because the gosspier in me loves this system 😂.
Edit: SO I finished this game and it was super cool. Lots of plot twists and got me really hooked! Totally recommend it! ♥

Hi! So I still want to take up a course on coding because I feel my skills are totally rusty as of now. But, I'm craving coding lately, maybe a DW layout or two. So if you have any requests on a layout you would like to see, I'm open for them :D.
If there's anyone out there still reading, because this feels like a wasteland! Which reminds me of SS501's song named Wasteland.

I'm digressing. I'm using an old layout of mine because I wanted a change but didn't know what to make for myself. So I'll explore on what I like lately and maybe start making my own design first. Please tell me if you have any ideas for new layouts! I might even reopen my old layout community... we'll see...

Edit: Since I'm not actively updating this journal, I just updated the book list with all I've read for the past months. I'm actually going to finish my 10th book this year soon! This is crazy! I've never gone that far up the 10th book mark a year! *celebrates*

SO. Last time I posted I went to PortAventura for 3 days straight and made a video about it. Right? Guess where I'll be going again next week HAHAHA.

Just a little wrap up of what life is like lately:

Aaron and I opened a candle shop and it's doing great! I'll talk about this again soon.

I lost my job almost a year ago and have had no luck finding a new one. However I have a small internet job that helps pay the bills.

I'm studying hard for the next official exams that enable you to work as a teacher in the public system here in Spain. Next exam is on summer 2024!

I've been playing lots of videogames and also reading a lot of books. Will talk about those too soon, I hope.
